Missing Credit Requests are necessary from time to time due to an offer that has not credited through the normal internet tracking cookie system. It is vital that you, the person completing offers, make sure that your computer does not block tracking cookies! Adware and Spyware programs, Virus protections, Firewall settings, Yahoo and Google browser toolbars, all of these have options to BLOCK tracking cookies. If they are blocked, you will NOT receive credits for the offers you are completing. Before you begin doing offers, please make sure that you have checked these settings, and made sure you have nothing active that will block tracking cookies. This is YOUR responsibility. Also, we suggest doing ONE offer at a time, and make sure you are getting credits for your completions before you go and do a whole bunch of offers and not get credit for any of them. However, even the best set up computer in the world can have an issue or two with certain offers. Pre-paid cards, not completing the sign-up, providing false information when signing up, these too can cause missing credits. And remember, there is NO such thing as “instant”! Most offers credit within 2 minutes to 6 hours.
If you have a missing credit, and you have waited 24 hours for it to credit and it has still not credited, you can file a Missing Credit Request. This is done on the “Support” page on any of our sites, by clicking on the “Missing Credit Request Form” link. But before you do, you will HAVE to be able to have access to the ORIGINAL confirmation email that you got from the offer, and you will also have to be able to get that emails Full Headers. BOTH the full headers AND the original confirmation email will have to be copied and pasted into the form in their provided for places, so make sure you have them both ready to copy and paste into the form! Now, many of you do not know how to get an email’s full headers…
What are Email Full Headers?
In email messages, headers (also know as “Email Source”) contain the addresses of all the computer systems that have relayed a message in between the sender and you. Each computer that forwards the message along its route adds a line of information to the headers. Usually you do not see the full headers, as they can be fairly long and so are not displayed along with the common “From:”, “To:”, “Subject:”, and “Date:” headers. The information provided in the full headers allows you to determine where a message actually came from, and how it got to your computer. This is sometimes necessary because the address you see on the “From:” line can be spoofed, or faked. We require the full headers for fraud prevention, and as a way for our advertisers to know that the email actually originated from them.
How Do I Get The Full Headers?
All email clients have different ways to get the email headers, but ALL email clients allow you to do so. Hopefully you will be using one of the one’s listed below. If not, most email clients have a “Help” or “Search” function. Just enter “Full Headers” of “View Source” in the help or search function of your email client, and you will be able to find out how to get them in the email client you are using. How To File An MCR:
When you have found the full headers, and have the original confirmation email, you are ready to file your Missing Credit Request. Go to the “Support” page ON THE SITE YOU COMPLETED THE OFFER ON, and click on “Missing Credit Request Form“. On this page, select the offer you completed from the drop-down list next to “Offer Completed“. Then click on “Select Date“, and on the calendar, select the date you completed the offer. Remember, you must wait a full 24 hours before you file a missing credit request! Sometimes internet server issues, or other tracking problems can delay your credit. And remember, there is NO such thing as “instant”! Most offers credit within 2 minutes to 6 hours.
After you have selected the correct offer, and the correct completion date, you will then need to copy the Full Headers from the email, and paste it in the “Email Full Headers:” text box. Then, you must copy the original emails complete contents, the text of the original confirmation email itself, and paste that into the “Confirmation Email:” Text Box. BOTH ARE REQUIRED! If you fail to enter the information in both boxes, the MCR will be ignored, or sent back to you for “More Information Needed”. It is YOUR responsibility to file these correctly.
How Long Does It Take??
Once a missing credit request is filed, please understand that you MUST have patience. Some of the advertisers require that we wait a full 7 days before we can even submit them. Fortunately, most do not. However, they DO take anywhere from 3 days up to 30 day to send your credit. Please be aware that if you are in a hurry, you can complete another offer to reach your offer requirements, and the credit for the offer that you put in an MCR for can be transferred to another site when the credit does come in. The BEST way to prevent NOT having to file an MCR is to make SURE that your computer and browser are set up properly, that you are NOT using pre-paid cards, and that you have NOT done that same offer previously on another site.
